Another Newb :newbie:          http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/Smileys/default/newbie.gif

Hey guys, I just recently discovered this message board. So glad to talk with/hear from other people who know that the only body worth having is an E-body! Sadly, as much as I love them I don't currently own one. I have been looking for a 1970 Chally as a project car for the past 2-3 years or so and have dreamed of having one for the past 10 years at least (I am 21) So you could say I have wanted one as long as I've lived.

My dream is: 1970 Challenger RT, 440, black on black (gloss black with matte black RT striping) and white interior.
As much as I love to see a numbers matching car the way ma mopar birthed her, I don't have the money or time for that.
So my Chally will most likely be a clone or non numbers matching car.

I have used your site as a bottomless source of information deciding what I want for my car and how I will restore her as well as keeping an eye on all the project cars for sale. Here in the next year or so I will be buying a car and launching ship on this project. Thanks for all the veteran info and convo here!
Nobody like an E-body!

Schmid007-
Welcome to CC.Com
Your dream car description sounds great, except, better if it were a Cuda  :poopoke:
I looked at your profile, not much info.
Where do you hail from?
Best wishes in finding your dream Chally

Ron

Hey, thanks guys. I'm from central illinois.
not too many good classics around here that aren't rusted out. All the dang road salt wrecks havoc.
So my project will prolly have to come from out of state.

I've been reading the forum for quite some time. Just trying to build my knowledge before starting my project.

Glad to have all you veteran mopar guys and your expertise!

Welcome! Be patient and keep putting the cash in the coffee can and you will find one. Prices are coming down and good cars are out there waiting to be found. Good luck young man!

Welcome to the site!  This is a great place to watch for a new project as many cars come for sale on the site.  Hopefully you will not be looking for long.
