MC advice needed
« on: September 05, 2010 - 05:31:25 AM »
You guys have given me some good advice on this topic before and helped me determine I need a new MC.  I am mainly looking to get the car safe and stopping good.

Stock discs in the front, SSBC disc conversion in the back.   I have manual brakes and have decided I might as well keep them that way.    What MC do I need, and who has it?  I am not a fan of billet, and like a stock look although it does not have to be totally concourse numbers matching level.    Alsosince I am doign up a 340 and likely a six pack, what are my options for a T/A conversion?

I got mine from DR.Diff off e-bay

Here is the p-valve I installed too. You will need one with your rear disc's too most likley?

if the master is originally designed for disc drum it will have a residual pressure valve built into it that has to be removed or the the disc brakes will drag , it must be designed for disc / disc or you need to remove the brass insert where the line attaches & pullthe residual valve out

Thanks guys UI have dealt with Dr. Diff in the past I will give him a call when I am ready to get on this.

Cryco thanks again you have given me excellent advice on this in the past. My rear discs do drag and I notice that in reverse.   My thoughts on this are I should get a new one as the one thats there is not stock anyway and they are not too pricey.
