1st of all, that ain't no AAR.

2nd of all, we don't know if that '71 'Cuda sold.  Guy's been trying to sell that car for many months; something must be wrong w/it.

3rd...if maybe vendors will sell the parts at lower prices, maybe they'd sell???

I mean, $175.00 for some plastic e-body rain deflectors?  Sure, they're rare, but it must take maybe $0.25 to make them.

I wish I had some more $$$ so I can hoard a lot of these repop parts.  I just need to buy ASAP what I need immediately.
I agree, the car in question is NOT a AAR.

Maybe the title for this post should be "Cloned AAR Prices on the Rise!"

2 bad unresearched examples didn't prove anything other than if it has an AAR Decal on it it must be an AAR!

I haven't seen any proof it isn't an AAR, the white AAR on Moparts is still for sale for under 40K, and that 71 still hasn't sold for 34K...

I just watched a rerun ( I assume) of Barrett Jackson at Scottsdale... a 1970 Hemi Cuda vert just sold for 2 million dollars?  :faint: that's just nuts????

I happened to mention this to my buddies at a local jobber. They laughed at me and said that was a repeat of highlights of Barrett Jackson.   ::) Then they asked if it was a peach coloured/orangey colour. I said ya? Then they laughed and  told me it was the local  longtime Chrysler dealers car he had sent down to sell? :faint: It's rumoured he has quite a few ultra rare Mopars in storage. He owned the dealership in the late 60's and still does. So he could very well have some nice cars "put away"
I know him as an acquaintance, he ordered me a new SRT when he knew I was looking for a Challenger. I couldn't decide between an old one or a new one at the time.  Pretty good guy to know.....just stay on his good side, he reminds me a little of Boss Hog off of the Dukes! :grinyes:

I wouldn't be surprised if the pics were stolen from an old auction.  The e-mail given in the ad seems fishy too.  Not to mention, those are some old pics, notice the lack of foliage anywhere?  Seriously, with only those few exterior shots shown, who would bid on that car?  In regards to that '71 383 'Cuda, it has been for sale for a very lonnnngggg time!  Started off in the $50k area IIRC a couple of years ago.
