Is it necessary? I would think all the components would line back up the same. I didn't change the tie rods or sway bar or anything, just the struts. It's on my Nissan Altima. Thanks!

Yes, an alignment would need to be done if the struts are replaced....    :2thumbs:

We always did but I'm not sure how your car is set-up.  A lot of times, the upper steering knuckle is slotted and the "through" bolt is cammed.  Some cars even have slotted upper mounts.

Like I said, I'm not familiar with that car...I've been out of that buisness for a long time...but I would have it checked.  Tires aren't cheap anymore.

Yes it will need an alignment.  The camber will be off, and sometimes the caster is changed as well.
If I cant fix it, it's broke

most are adjustable between the strut & spindle & need to be reset , they usually have cammed bolts as mentioned , some do not have cammed bolts but generally have slots at the top or=f the strut & wouls still need adjustment so either way I would have it checked
