 Does the Challenger and Cuda have the same wheel base?

How much does a small block Challenger w/o AC weight?

I thought the challenger wheel base was 2" longer.  I've heard of weights from 3200 to 3600 depending on year and options.

I always understood the E-body Cuda was 108" and the Challenger was 110" for the wheelbase?

2 inches shorter wheelbase, less than 3 inches shorter overall length and 20lbs lighter for the Cuda

So where is the Coda shorter as far as the body goes? Does it have doors that are 2'' shorter? Did they take it out of the rear seat / rear fender area?

Since the  barracudas have a shorter wheel base,

it is behind the door, but in front of the rear wheel house that they shortened the body,


AMC did the same thing with the Javelin shortened to make an AMX in 1968

My Challenger weighed 3500 on the scales at New England Dragway.

I have fiberglass fenders, hood, aluminum radiator/shroud, intake, master cylinder.  Manual brakes and Power steering.

I took her down to the feed store, she came in at 3,450 pounds........................That's a 340 with aluminum heads and intake (no A/C), 727, 8 3/4 rear, no jack or spare tire and about 1/4 tank of gas.
