I used to keep up with price trends but I stopped paying so close attention and now with the economy as is I have no idea where everything falls. Im curious as to what 70 challengers are going for these days, so can you guys help me determine, ballpark, what the following cars might go for? Assume all in good condition, no rust issues, needing little work, all 1970 year challengers.
Well I'll take a shot at it but I probably follow the cuda prices more than the challengers . . .
-base small block car $18,000
-non numbers big block car $21,000 (383 would be a little cheaper than an 440 IMO)
-T/A car (numbers matching - $63,000 . . . not #'s matching - $46,000)
-decent T/A clone $ 28,000 depends on what the car started as
-numbers match R/T (sorry not sure on this one . . need more details)
- and finally a numbers hemi - $95,000
These are just my opinion and there are always features that could change the prices. Hope this helps!
