HOOD RELEASE

 :working:DID ALL 72 CUDAS HAVE AN INSIDE  HOOD RELEASE  OR WAS THIS AN OPTION. DOES ANY ONE HAVE A PICTURE HOW THE CABLE IS ATTACHED TO THE HOOD LATCH.

It was an option, there is an extra bracket on the hood latch support to clamp down the cable, there's a lever the cable goes on, I don't have that just wrapped it around the bottom rod by the spring, someone sold me the wrong latch assembly(was the same as my manuel one) but it works, can get a pic of mine if no one has a pic of the correct one. Rich.

383DART, you're gonna confuse someone (and possibly offend) with the ALL CAPS thing.  It represents yelling in Internet-speak.

As for a hood release, mine is electronic.  The electronic trunk release on an 80's Fifth Avenue is the same mounting pattern as a Cuda hood latch.  Bolt it up, hit it with juice for a second and it pops open.  You'll need to trim it down to fit the yoke, but then all is good.
