Cast Rocker arms
« on: September 15, 2010 - 08:27:41 PM »
I have a set of Cast Rocker arms that don't fit on my 360 heads, four of them line up with the push rod the other four are way off.  Am I missing something? Casting number are 3577692, 3577071 and 3577071.  I can't get a photo to load.

If I can't use them I'll probably look to unload them.

The rocker arms are right- and left-handed. You may have all the same side in your set. It requires 4 of each for one head.

With ductile iron rockers, I believe big block rockers are left & right. Regular small block are all straight so it doesn't matter how you arrange them.

Your rocker arms may be for OEM 340 6-pack T/A heads with factory offset/relocated intake pushrod holes.

Big block rockers:

"Regular" small block rockers:

340 T/A exhaust rockers would look like the other iron small block rockers and can be used on regular head intake and exhaust positions. The T/A intake rockers look the same, just at an angle.

I couldn't find pics of the actual 340-6 T/A rockers yet.

Here is a better pic of a Crane small block rocker for regular heads or T/A exhaust.

Click on "Additional Options..."

Click "Browse" on the dropdown list.
A window will open with your picture, document, etc. files.

Find the pic you want to post, click on it, then click "Open". The file name will appear in the "File name" box. Click "Open". It may take a minute to download to your post. When it's done, post your reply.
