When mounting the 2 piece trunkfloor with quarters and tailpanel still on,
how do you get the lip from the trunkfloor under the tailpanel? :clueless:

:clueless:i dont think the lip exists on 2-piece trunk floors :dunno:its sort of a easy repair :picture:the lip on the 2-piece trunk floors ends on the inside of the trunk,as in dont cut your original before youve meassured it up. :cooldancing:so when you use the 2-piece floor you have to keep the part of the floor thats in between the taillight panel and the beam thats under it.this piece of the trunk floor that you leave still attatched to the car, then folds up 90degrees up over the bottom of the tail panel.at least thats what i red on this forum if i remember it right :hyper:good luck

so you created your own problem by removing the lip edge with nothing to replace it with,  :dunno:

if this picture is correct you short by a lot, looks like it ends on top od the crossmember which is way away from the tail panel

you will have to fabricate the remaining floor edge to properly fit the tail panel.

yes the last 2 inches are flat not a problem here . what is that picture for? im not having fitment issues i just dont know if the panel gets installed flush with the qpanel seam or set in a little . the pictures ive been looking at have been a little of both so ill probably play with it and figure out what looks best. i removed the 73 panel because there was soo much bondo in it that the 1970 would feel right at home in its place .  soo the picutres can be seen i thought they didnt upload . intresting

I also recently installed a two piece trunk pan and tail light panel.  Hope these pics help.   :2thumbs:

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.
