70 CUDA WINDSHIELD AND REAR WINDOW MOLDING
« on: September 29, 2010 - 06:44:34 AM »
I need to remove/re-install front and rear glass.

Can anyone give me the process needed to remove the window molding
not sure how you can get access to the clips to remove the molding
and remove the glass.

Also,
any tips or recommendations for installing the glass...such as sealant etc
would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

there is a special hook type tool that slides under the trim & pulls the clip away from the trim .

Ron,
Thanks for the info and picture of the actual tool itself.

Car looks beautiful and I'm sure hot blonds are abundant in SC.... I lived in Santa Ana
MCAS El Toro in late 70's and visit every year.

Always wanted to own a 69 roadrunner.

Thanks again
