Ok... here's a dumb question while we're on the topic... the mini's will also work with slant 6's right?? I was told yes, but CP, you are GOD here!! :thumbs: :grinyes:

Here's a link for a new starter, you can get them from a Dodge dealership too. There is one with a higher torque for a higher price.

Actually I learned on the hardtop that this starter was just . . . the better choice  Every MOPAR I have will have one of these starters.  You do need to remove the top plastic connection that mounts over the posts for it to go on the e body.  And I actually had to grind a little on the block and the side of the starter to get it to fit up in there as it is alittle snug.  But once in there . . . . . SHHHAAAWEEEEEEET!

so do the same mini starters that are on all the magnums a direct bolt-on to a big block?  that will save all sorts of effort bench-pressing that beast with one hand, lining up the steel plate and bolts with the other.
