Rear u joint 742 case

Can anyone help me with this topic? I have an A-833 Tranny and a 742 case 3.23 sure grip rear. Do I need to use a combination u joint on the drive shaft. The yoke seems like it is a smaller diameter than the drive shaft u-joint. I'm not sure if it is just paint build up or it needs a combo joint.

Check to see if your u-joint straps from the yoke fit. If they do, there is some kind of build up on the yoke. If they don't fit either, you must have a 742 with a small yoke. Maybe from a /6?

As stated, it looks like correct width, so maybe there's excessive paint build-up?
