« on: October 10, 2010 - 08:09:42 AM »
Hey guys and gals.  I was wondering if I can get everyones help from here to vote for my families 1970 Dodge Challenger convertible on the 2010 Texaco Car of the Decades on line car show.  It is a simple registration that is free but in order to vote for a car, you need to be registered.  I have entered my 1969 charger as well.

I appreciate any help that you can be with voting for our cars.

It's too bad Texaco isn't using the same rules from the 1st time they did this.  Back then they only allowed 1 vote per IP address.

I won't advertise & help promote it for that reason.  It's been pretty obvious folks were abusing the system.  A quick look at the vote totals from the first one tells ya' that.  :misbehaving:

Apparently they are checking into that since this morning I was out of first place this morning by 120 votes to the orange challenger which had a score of 1502.  I just logged in and I am now in first place with 1392 votes.  How I got pushed back up to first and he had the points taken away is baffling me.

Ok, last plug for our cars since its only 2 days left for voting for the Texacocarofthedecades.com online car show. I am currently in first but its go time and anything can happen in the last few minutes. Please keep me in first place by voting for my 1969 Dodge Charger at this link. http://texacocarofthedecades.com/CarDetails.aspx?CarDetailID=218&Preview=False&Decade=1960&Era=Muscle

Texaco has caught people cheating and made it public knowledge that they found out about it.  At least it is nice to see them trying to keep it even.  I know I jumped up a bunch of points by asking people from dodgecharger.com and on here to vote for our cars.  Plus it doesn't hurt to post it every couple of hours on facebook!
