Stripe color
« on: October 27, 2010 - 10:40:18 AM »
I have a 2009 SRT8, I feel it needs a side stripe.  I have decided to use the 70 style stripe that runs the entire length, with SRT8 call out cut out of the fender area stripe.  It has the carbon fiber looking hood decal.  I cant decide between mat black and black.  Pictures would be appreciated.

I'll try to post a pic later when I get home, but I went with matte black. The contrast between that and the Tor-red is quite interesting in the sunlight.

What a like about the matte black is how it looks in the sun. The paint is shiny, yet the stripes play games. You can see here how the side stripes look silver-ish at a certain angle, and the straight on shot of my hood shows the contrast.

By the way, congrats on your purchase.    :clapping:   :woo:   :woohoo:

That might conflict with the black factory hood decal? It sure looks sweet with the matt hood treatment!

Is your carbon-fiber hood decal gloss?
