Dixco Don Garlits tach
« on: October 27, 2010 - 09:35:23 PM »
I have a chance to buy an original Dixco Don Garlits tach, but I'm not real sure of what they are worth. I have not seen the tach yet so I don't know of it's overall condition. I was told that it was in working order. If I can get it at a fair price I am either going put in in my Challenger or sell it to someone going for the old school look. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is that a hood mounted tach?
If so I think it would look old school cool.
I think there were hood mounted tachs available back then through mopar.

The Don Garlits was cup style to be mounted on the column or dash. Alot like the Sun Super Tach II's.
