back-up light switch 727
« on: November 07, 2010 - 07:05:10 AM »
Can anyone tell / show me the location of the switch?  I suppose it`s on the trans, but I cannot get to my trans at this time to check.  Need to know where to go with my new wiring.
thanks

Driver's side, in between the speedo gear and the gear selector.

the wiring crosses the firewall & goes down the right side of the trans & goes over the top of the tranny near the crossmember & plugs in from the rear of the trans

yes,  now I remember the route...   I`m rewiring my car with RF, so non factory... is there a particular reason why Chrysler chose that route for the wiring?  Should I do the same...?

probably less interference with shift linkage & cooler lines , I would copy the factory route
