I'm trying to rebuild the heater box for my 74 Challenger. I'll tried making new foam gaskets for the baffles, however I can't seem to get the foam to stick to the metal. Anybody have any suggestions??

Use a good spray on adhesive like 3M or equivilant, clean the metal surface, spray both the foam and metal and when tacky attach the foam. It will work. PK

I tried the cheaper hardware store brand, but what sprays out was too thin viscosity. It soaked into the foam and turned the foam into a solid block, total waste of time. 3M is the only way to go.
