    Hi, does anyone know if the 08-10 Challenger T/A hood scoops are a similar design/ dimension to the original 1970 scoop? I’d like to try and put one of these on a spare 70 hood that I have (flat steel hood)
    I can’t find a 1970 reproduction hood scoop anywhere (I’m after the scoop only, not the hood with a scoop integrated). (I'm in Australia which does'nt help much)
    The 08-10 scoops sure look similar.
    I've added some pictures for reference, the black one is the 08-10 the other two are the 1970 specs.

    Don't know about the fit of the newer scoops but I have seen someone offering a metal 70 T/A scoop.  It was $$$ and it took a while to make but it looked really good.

    I was looking at those metal scoops back in 08 when I lost my job. Did a lot of research on it. As far as I can tell, there was 1, count em 1, of those made, which was sold to a collector, and the guy that was making them gave up on them. I've had no luck getting in touch with him directly.

    I think Diago (Moparts) makes the metal scoops.  Master Metal Man...

    I want to say his name is Domingo, but I'm not sure. Either way, he doesn't answer PMs about the scoops, which I take to mean he has no interest.
