No, it was not Auto Instruments who refurbed the speedo. The tires on the car are relatively new - less than 1500 miles. The error is solely in the speedo.

To JS29NOB--I don't know about who did mrwfp's cluster but I did mine.  It did not need much except cleaning and polishing.  I did paint the needles which were a little faded.  I cleaned the dial faces with mild soap and water and dried immediately.  I polished the clear plastic "lense".  All my gauges and instruments work so I did not repair/replace any of them.  I did zero my odometer since the car will be esentially new.
If I needed to send the cluster to be rebuilt or repainted I would send it to JCAuto Restorations.
