Rear valence brackets – which ones?
« on: November 18, 2010 - 10:10:59 AM »
Hey guys. I ordered some rear valence brackets for my car and they don't seem to be correct. I have a pic of the brackets below – they are from AMD. I'm using a Goodmark RT valence which seems to be identical to the NOS one I have. Does any one know what bracket I require? thanks.

Are you working on a 1970?  71-74 didn't use brackets like that.  THey just used one in the center.

The entire car is new sheet metal. 1970. Rear cross member is AMD. Quarters and Rear valence are goodmark. Rear valence has center section as well.   I'm confused.??

70's had two valance brackets similar to that I think just inboard of the exhaust tips. I think for 71 the bracket was made a part of the valance.
