I have not used them, but 3M products are typically quality items with good adhesive. If installing these is like decals for models, or stripe kits for cars, wetting the surface with soapy water (mild dish soap solution) then applying the decal allows for the decal to be repositioned prior to gently pressing down to set decal in place. Press down with plastic squeegie drawn across decal or soft rag.
