I love these little cars.

and a yellow Pacer behind it! :smilielol: awwww... shudder!.... That brings back a horrible memory!
When I was about 17. My Mom MADE me go out on a date with her best friends daughter, BAD IDEA!...BAD....BAD....BAD! To make matters worse I also had to use my Mom's car....a crap brown AMC Pacer with wood grain paneling! :puke: That girl was nuts!, acted like we were married after one date! My brain needs a "delete" button for that memory! :smilielol:
Oh man...that was one evening I surely could have done without! :bricks1: :22yikes: :puke:

Thanks for the flashback? :sly:

About 25 years ago there was a guy selling a Pacer near me that I really wanted. He had put in a targa roof, and cut out the big bubble glass in the back and replaced with a Jeep-style snap-in soft top. For all practical purposes, it was a Pacer convertible. I didn't buy it because it ran like crap (with him sitting right beside me saying "I didn't hear any backfire"), but as I look back on it he probably destroyed the car's structural integrity with all of his cutting  :grinyes:

Being in an AMC town we had many of these jewels! I remember growing up some friends of mine (who I still see to this day!) father always bought AMC producys ALWAYS. The last one he bought was a Pacer. When AMC shut down he decided to make a switch. To Chevy........

So what does he buy........

A new Citation....  :grinno:  :banghead:
