Has anybody used the RHS LA X heads? How much better are they over the originals of a 360 or are the 308 a better option? Motor will not be max Hi Perf but a strong cruiser. I am just getting info, I know alloy heads are lighter and can be made to flow but am interested in these iron heads, thank you for your responses.   :2thumbs:

I actually prefer a well designed iron head over a alum head the iron heads as they retain more heat & tend to make more power but I have not tried the RHS heads

Thanks Bullitt I re-read that link, i was hoping to find anymore info from anyone who has worked with them as it could now be an option for me.
Neil I tend to agree about iron over alloy also but as I have a little time on my hands I was trying to gain more info about the RHS, not too many have used them that I can find out about. They seem to be a revised casting, I haven't been able to find out what combustion chamber they have, I am sure that it is a more closed chamber but haven't seen any pic's of one yet.   :working:

the latest W2 casting is friggin awesome , it has a small kidney shaped chamber & can make 550 hp wit a 2bb on top according to the Cascar guys locally , too bad the W2 is so expensive by the time you buy all the need special parts [ rockers valave covers , intake , exhaust] to make them work
