Ya, I do feel the drivers door lifting up on back door catch. I will find out tonight all about the history of the car. I tracked down the old owner email address off a post that ragtopchally posted. The car changed hands within 3 months twice. He said this;
" I am a life long mopar guy and owned that car for 15 years. I can tell you everything you want to know about it and would be glad to do so."
The guy I bought the car off of will not even call me back. I swear he is a chevy guy!
He had no reason to not give me this guys phone number, because that is all I wanted. So thank goodness ragtopchally posted some info about the add posted by the other previous owner.
The day I went to pick up the car, I called him saying I would be there to pick it up in three hours. He said O.K I will be here. I get there & he *****es me out for not calling him, & he is so loaded he can hardly talk. At the time, the car was not running. So we had to use his truck to pull the car up on the Uhaul trailer. So after waiting for him to find the keys for his truck for 20 minutes. He calls me over to what I thought was to drive his truck over to the car to be towed up on the trailer. No, no. He calls me over to blow in his breathalyizer, so his truck would stay going. I will never forget a loaded man trying to explain to me how to blow in this thing. He says " you have to do this" He sticks his finger in his mouth (like a child sucking on there finger), & starts blowing on his finger vibrating his lips. Well I try it on the machine & it works. Get the truck over to the car & hooked up to tow the car up on trailer. His alarm starts going off on his truck. I had to run over & try to blow on this thing a certain way to make the alarm go off. It finally works after a couple of trys. We get the car on the trailer, & I had to the border after that. I was never so happy to leave a guys place. If you own a company selling classic cars, you should never act like this guy. I always seem to find the crazies!!!
Anyway, I am happy I going to find out what the deal is with this car. Then I will know what to do. They did remove the disc brakes on the car & put drums on for some reason. So maybe it was just not installed properly.
