Job situation Good Update 12-3-2010

It has been one rough day. First I sent in my new contract for next year.  Not 3 hours later get an email saying our jobs had been terminated. Been emailing all afternoon with everyone I could think of to see what was going on.  I work for DynCorp int,  and work on Navistar trucks.   I wrote emails to both companies.  I found out that the main contracts for next year had not been signed.  Then one of my ex bosses was in direct contact with the USAF and later in the afternoon said the contract for Moody AFB had been signed and I was good to go for the next year.  My company still says I may have to go to Fort Campbell KY for my job at my exspense.  I hope not but might have to do that.  I could go overseas as well with my company or with Navistar.  Just think I will wait till monday and see what happens.  I think I will be staying here so just going to try to relax if I can.

Thanks I was sure trying to do that.  Checked emial here at work and if I had gotten some of them I would have felt even better about the situation.  They sent them to here and not my personal email.  Only missed 3 days of pay which is not too bad.      I was also put in for another position but really wanted to stay here after just getting all my things here.  Now can finish unpacking and then I can start back on my car!!!!!!!  YEA !!!!!!!

Glad to be back at work.  My prayers have been answered.  I will say a prayer for all my friends on here as well for full recovery and the best of health they can have.  Thanks to everyone for your prayers and thoughts!
