brake advice
« on: January 10, 2011 - 02:55:02 PM »
I do not have the proportioning or metering valve for my disc/drum cuda.  This is a resto-mod.  I have the master brake power booster since I am putting in a crate hemi.  Is there a cleaner or more simple setup than the original tubing mess? Perhaps an aftermarket or newer type valve?  Thanks.

I would not use a proportiong valve in the front lines & use an adjustable proportioning valve like a Wilwood unit in the rear brake lines to balance the brakes

So I would split the the front disc line off of the master cylinder and just run lines to the front brakes and tie in an adjustable valve between the rear drums?

Put the adjustable proportioning valve in the line running to your rear brakes.
