Too much boost?
« on: December 03, 2010 - 11:54:56 AM »
Poor Mustang, apparently a stock bottom end of a 5.4L can't handle 24 psi of boost.  :roflsmiley:

Wow.....

Just a thought, should you be given the title "tuner" if you come up with the idea of putting that much power into a stock bottom end of a mustang?.....

It's not the amount of boost, as there's a Mitsubishi here that runs on around 40 PSI and lives. It's the dumbass trying to do it on a stock bottom end that the problem occurs...This is how Nitrous Oxide got it's bad rep for "Blowin' up motors"...Idiots trying to bomb a 500 Shot on a stock 340 Mopar with the fuel system "T'd" off the stock, mechanical fuel pump....

Maybe we should encourage more mustang owners to boost their cars, the road will be littered them, remember that 90% of all frauds sold are still on the road, the other 10% made it home.   :roflsmiley:   :smilielol:
