Dyeing Black door panels blue
« on: December 12, 2010 - 01:51:20 PM »
Someone changed my interior to black. So I am dyeing my interior back to what it was from factory. Wondering if I can spray the plastic panels from black straight to B5 blue with a SEM product, or will I need to spray them white first. Any ideas? Thanks

You can spray the blue onto the black without the white first. It might take a few coats to get a good coverage which also might fill in the grain some. Be sure to follow all of the preparations that SEM recommends so it sticks good. SEM also has a great customer service. Call them to discuss what you're doing and you should have no problems.
