car doesnt look too bad... i would change the hood stripes (take them off) , buy an aar hood, and 70 girll... lose the pontiac hood tach, new seats, paint the tail panel black, new wheels, hate those dog dish rims and maybe a couple other minor things.. but other than that, its still too much $$$$...  thats just what i think... but i'd  :driving: it ..

I was under the impression that the tach is a factory piece but, you had to get it from the dealership and install it.

paxton isn't no name. one of the best out there. sell whole kits to add to lots of cars.

Sorry didn't know paxton makes novi

I think the tach is right out of the Hustle stuff catalog from the seventys, I had one about 15 years ago
but it was alittle too goofy to use and I sold it

Anyone got info on the VIN?

Looks like a 1970 Cuda body (tail and side marker lights) with a 72 - 74 Cuda grille.  There's no way that can be the actual VIN for that vehicle; It doesn't conform to the standard VIN format. :ack:
Its probably a state issued Vin,maybe it was lost and this was a junk yard resto

I agree, burn the seats.  Then lose the stereo, fix the hood stripes, let me have the Pontiac tach for my 67 Firebird, clean up the rear end, drop the price 10K or so, then it'll have a chance.

Still no answer on the VIN.

The mistake in the vin is not a P but should look like this BH23C0E its an L.A. built 6 cylinder car. and the tach on the hood could very well be an aftermarket or one of the Big Daddy Don Garlitts hood tachs they sold through Hustle Stuff or Direct Connection they later dropped the Big Daddy name on them and just put MOPAR on the tachs face plate. neat car indeed and looks like they have a ton of money in it.
Dont forget to register your AAR at the AAR Registry only at www.transamcuda.com 1981 AAR's on file. Also info on 70 thru 74 E-Bodies. Ask me about yours!!
