DALLAS — A man was questioned by the Secret Service Wednesday night after driving a muscle car onto the lawn of former President George W. Bush's home near Dallas.

Officials told KXAS that the suspect had visited a friend's house in Bush's gated neighborhood to show off his Plymouth Barracuda.

The man told investigators he ran onto the former president's yard when his gas pedal became stuck.

I bet that he has and automatic and added a higher than stock intake. If anyone does this, the kickdown linkage goes over center and holds your carb open at wide open throttle. Happened to me back in the mid 80s. You have to modify your linkage arm to raise it or else you will crash your car the next time you "show off".

It's high time something be done about these assault muscle cars. They were obviously meant to only go fast, and run busloads of nuns off the road.

Janet Napolitano is sure to show up on CNN any time and tell us that we're all safe and everything worked as designed.  I feel much safer knowing she's on the job!  :eek4:

I'm pretty mad about the left wing news media trying to slander us Mopar owners by falsely reporting it was a Plymouth that went out of control and gave the ex-pres a lawn job! :stomp:
