Scarebird overpriced for this Canadian boy

I bought the scarebird adapters off of ebay thinking it would be a cheaper way to replace the drums on my car. I was worried about shipping on a full brake kit(weight of it) because of living in canada also. I live in vancouver b.c, & did not want second hand parts. I have done the junk yard seach before, & to me, the parts are just getting too hard to find. I was given a list of things I need to buy to finish the disc brake setup, so I went out & bought everything on the list.

After buying everything on the list & counting the purchase of the adapters it cost me over $800.00 & still just have a mutt front brake system. The ford galaxie rotors cost $212.00 a pair on there own. So I would suggest someone buy the viper kit if thinking of changing there front end to a kit. 

Any thoughts from someone with the kit that was happy. Maybe living in the USA makes it cheaper to go with this kit, but for me it is a learning experience I could of did without.

That does sounds high,  got a breakdown of all the parts?

I upgraded to the 11.75 factory set-up.  It ended up costing way more than I originally thought, but that was because once I got into it, I just kept upgrading.

new hoses, new hard lines, new struts rods, new upper control arms...................
