Challenger Deck Lid Interchangeability

Are deck lids interchangeable for all years between '70 and '74?
Or, like many things - are '70's unique in some way?

Happy New Year

Externally they are the same. 70's and maybe 71's had provisions for the brackets to hold on the Go-wing spoiler.

Early 1970 model year, cutouts in the underskin for the luggage rack only.

Early-mid 1970 model year, cutouts for the luggage rack & for go-wing style spoiler.

Mid 1970 model year,  cutouts for the luggage rack, go-wing style spoiler & T/A style spoiler.

The last version has also been on every original 1971 Challenger I have checked so far.

Thanks Barry.  I was always told, from Chrysler, that the luggage rack only lids were replacement lids.  Maybe they were extras from the first run.  I worked at a Chrysler parts department when Ebody parts were becoming NS-1 parts due to the fact that Chrysler was broke at the time. It was hard to find out what the real truth was about parts even then.  I remember one time ordering the hood molding for a 70 Challenger.  The wide 71 molding came in and no one knew what it was.  The dealer wrote it off the books and tossed the molding in the trash. A lot of this went on when the parts were drying up due to the Ebodys simply becoming old used cars.
