Did it hydro lock?

If it did not, then you got a great buy!!

If it did hydro lock, then good luck, as you will most likely replace the rotating assembly, valve train. How that is worst case scenerio.

If it turns freely it is a great deal.

A turned crank can still turn over, I would at the least take the heads off and the pan, to see if the is any visable damage. It might cost you some gaskets, but it will give you piece of mind?

I got mine with a spun bearing for about $450. I figure prices like that are too hard to pass up. I was planning on totally building one anyways, so replacing all the internals with a 392 stroker kit is no biggy as I was already planning it. The heads will also be worked and a new cam put in. All stuff I was already planning on doing.

So in my opinion as long as you have a good block, heads (these can be bought if bad), and intake and wiring you're all set to have a powerful working modern hemi.
Cuda is gone :(
