Got the CVR clockable mini-starter for my 572 aluminum World Block Hemi but it won't fit.  Ground a little on the block to clear but NOW it interferes with the TTI header.  RobbMC won't work for my 727 trans so I'm hoping there's some others that might work.  ANY SUGGESTIONS??? :stomp:

What is the difference between the hemi starter and the typical mini starter?  Did you check your dip stick for fit as I know I had issue with this on the world block.  I have TTI headers and a world block and my mini starter fit with no problems.  Agreed that my block is a 440 . . . . but it is the same block as the hemi.

I guess they're the same.  I  know some brands designate 'hemi' for certain part numbers.  For instance
RobbMC starters have one only for  a hemi but that one won't fit my motor since i have 130 tooth ringgear.  I'm gonna try a denso 6644 through Dave Radcliffe at Rosevile Mopar since he's suggesting that might work.  So close yet so far!

THE STARTER WORKED!  I USED THE DENSO #6644 MINI-STARTER THAT DAVE SUGGESTED AND PURCHASED IT AT MANCINI'S RACING.  IT FIT PERFECTLY AND CLEARED BOTH THE WORLD BLOCK AND THE ttI HEADER WITH NO PROBLEM.  THE HEMI IS NOW DROPPED IN.
THANK YOU EVERYONE!

I do have a dipstick problem now though.  the milodon SS braided one won't bend quite enough to clear the TTi header.  A friend suggested the 'early B' dipstick that schumacher creative services sells for about $48.  I emailed them and will be talking to them on Monday.  Any other suggestions???

we used an OE tube and stick on both hemi's and both have the TTI, glad the starter worked out for you, i was out of stock on them, Gald Kevin was able to get one picked up.

BIG THANKS!  There's nothing better than knowing that SUPPORT is so close on this forum!  Dave, again thanks for all your help!  The loan of your engine cart to install the hemi made life so wonderful!!!
Will most likely order the OEM dipstick set up to make this work.  Thanks everyone...we're getting closer!  scott
