Shocked to see they used drum brakes!  :o I wonder if the spindles were a 1 ton truck part? The backing plate looks like a  aluminum casting?

yes, those are bigger than what Im used to seeing!
But, my SRT10 front brakes are probably about as big as the current stockers. Theyre huge and its a workout working with them.
