I had a Carter,it was loud. Tried napa for a cheap alternative,it is a bit quieter. There are slight differences.but now I can hear this one too.So I was going electric someday...   This is on an A engine though.

I'm running an Edelbrock (#1723) on a stroked big block.  I like that it has a 3/8" NPT fitting size in case you are using a 3/8" or 1/2" fuel line.

Mopar Performance is my choice.

I have been running a MP for 12 years without issue dam great pump.  :2cents:

P4007039AB = High-Output mechanical fuel pump for 426 Hemi and Big Blocks

P4007040  = High output mechanical fuel pump for small blocks

Both state "provide higher delivery rate than stock at 80 GPH  @ 8.7 PSI"

I must say I can't hear the thing at all, but I am running headers, 3" exhaust and 2 chamber flow masters. So... I don't hear much other than that

I am using the Carter high performance fuel pump (not sure of the part number), but I am running it on a stroked 440 big block (543 cubes) with over 600 horsepower and have had no issues with fuel starvation. It works just fine!!!  :2thumbs:
