Pitman arm Question
« on: January 20, 2011 - 10:31:56 PM »
Can anyone tell me how far up the spline the pitman arm should go? I have this thing torqued down but it does not want to go any farther than this. Is this normal?

It looks correct.  The factory service manual says to torque it to 175 foot pounds.

I thought the same thing.  That is the way mine looks too.  Moving on to the tie rod ends, make sure they go on the right direction to the correct side.
