Found a guy with a set of 906's with a home done valve job, supposedly ready to run for a hundred bucks. He has also got a set of the small valve 915 heads untouched also supposedly ready to run for 200............lookin for a set to put on 440 short block

my preference is always the closed chamber 915 heads , the closed chamber is much less likely to detonate on the poor fuel available . I would install the hard exhaust seats & larger 1.81 valves in them

I am always wary of home done valve jobs, usually all they do is clean out the carbon and lap the valves into the seats. This means the seats are way too wide and you don't know how the valve guides are either.
