Battery Woes
« on: February 16, 2005 - 11:12:12 PM »
Anyone else had any problems with the MOPAR Script batteries....the "Turbo Start" battery made by New Castle Battery Mfg. Co? It's a reproduction MOPAR original style battery sold by the Paddock and other places. The one I have is the sealed version...the caps are for show...they don't screw on/off. It's a maintenance free battery that looks like the old original batteries. Anyway, I have a brand new one and it doesn't hold a charge...not even for a day! I'm sending it back. Anyone else have this experience? :madvibe: :madvibe: :madvibe:

I've had one in my 71 for almost a year now, no problems whatsoever. Just bought another one for my 74.

No problems at all with the TurboStart/newcastle batteries. Have had probably 5 or 6 of em in various cars.
