Energy suspension strut rod bushing question

Just bought new bushings from energy suspension and they are taller and a different shape than what I took out? Looks like I'll have to  throw them in the lathe and turn them down? Anyone else come across this? They didn't come with new washers either? :sly:

I've read several posts that they are thicker & need to be trimmed to keep caster correct, installed mine without trimming & my caster #s were in spec.
