oil pressure gauge line placement on 360 ??
« on: March 02, 2011 - 07:25:04 PM »
My thoughts were to put a "T" type fitting in where the oil sender unit is so I can have both line and switch but if I put anything too long in there it looks like it will hit the vacumm advance on the dissy, is there an alternative? what have you done to get a line out from the block [360] while keeping the pressure switch??

I installed a 45 degree brass fitting, pointed toward the firewall.  Then "t" off this to have gauge and light.

I bought the Redline electric oil gauge for non-rallye dash.  At Idle the gauge reads zero.  For all the owners talk about how great his product was, and the price I paid Redline... I'm not impressed.

I am really considering going to mechanical oil pressure gauge.  Not sure if I can mount it in the dash, or under.
I'll take the redline gauge to the pistol range and let the wife have at it...it will be gone in no time.
