    I was perusing ebay and found this

    I assume this is actually a steel flat hood with a fiberglass 6pack scoop grafted to it, right?

    That would be my guess the square cutout looks homemade. Also looks like their might be a slight crease in top left of hood just before scoop could be just glare from photo though hard to tell.All in all it looks like they did a nice job bonding it to the hood.
