Anyone try rebuilding seat tracks before?
My SuperBee tracks are overdue. Driver side wasn't locking in place and felt broken. I took the driver one out and discovered the rivet which the adjuster arm pivots on fell out. The whole thing is so gunked up with dried grease, I decided to disassemble it. Now that it is apart, it looks pretty complicated.
I will be working on this today, stsrting with cleaning and bead blasting everything. I will get some pics on here when I can.
Does anyone have any advice or helpful hints on this? I hate to spend a bunch of time only to learn that I need special tools to get it all right or that I really need to pay a professional service to tackle this.
