Why did the early pics disappear?????

Ok,

Over the weekend I was able to look at all of the "cars of the month" under the section called Classics.  Today, I can only see some on page 3 and those on page 4 and 5.  What happen to the pics?   

Am I doing something wrong?

This is what happens when you don't host your pictures elsewhere, like Photobucket. If you upload thru the site the uploader gets cleaned out periodically and the pictures disappear.

Thanks for the info....I was curious if that was what happened.

But I have to say,,,,,I understand pics, their file size, and how much space they can take up on the site. 

It would really nice if somehow we could be alearted to the fact that a particular section of the site (aka...cars of the month) was going to be cleaned out ahead of time.  This would at least give everyone a chance to capture the cars or pics they may want to catalog. 

Oh well...

I have to poke a little fun at you guys..............

You do realize the main title section reads as follows:

"TIMELESS CLASSICS"
"Timeless Topics that will stay with us forever"

Uh...uh....well.....uh.....hmmmm.......that didn't happen!!!  You deleted the pics with these TIMELESS CLASSICS!!!  I hate to be Mr. Obvious here but maybe we should rename it.

How about

"TIMELESS CLASSICS"
"Timeless Topics that will stay with us forever ---------------until the computer police get ahold of it"

it is very frustrating when you search for answers and you see what were probably great pictures, each worth a thousand words, gone.
Its a shame, but all we can do is post the links from now on to help prevent it in the furure.
The wealth of great pictures , history and information that have been dumped over the years is

just gonna have to get used to that.  its not going to change.  weve been working very hard lately to keep this place going and the advertising has become necessary for a variety of reasons.  i appreciate your input but i no longer need your constant commenting on this issue, especially in topics that dont have anything to do with it.
