looking for a complete weld in 4-link kit
« on: February 17, 2011 - 09:23:49 PM »
Hi everyone!

Dad is finally getting serious about this Cuda build, and we think the first step is to cut out the rear pan area and weld in a four link suspension. I remember seeing places online that sell a complete kit with the subframes and everything, but now that we are trying to find them I cant.  :clueless:

Can anyone point me in the right direction? We are pretty sure we want a Dana to come in the package, and we are gonna be tubbing it.

When we are done we want it to have some really fat tires under the car, but before it goes to the paint booth we agreed we should fab in the 4-link.

So, help me out please!

Ebay has some 4 link kits as do Summit and Jegs. I have been looking at them for my 72 Cuda.

AWESOME! Thanks friends.

I am having a difficult time finding one specifically for this car. Does that mean they are all generic and you have to figure out how to mount them into the car?

You will need to fit it to your car. You can make it as wide or narrow as needed to make it fit your car.

Ahh, so it is adjustable of sorts, and we just weld it together when we have the widths figured out?

Go check Alstons chassisworks, we are going to use their 4 link in a drag car. Maybe bit costly, but they shud be worth it.

Theres also Art Morrison.

Try this..... http://www.reillymotorsports.com/store/product.php?productid=16172&cat=263&page=1

I contacted them last week. They can do a complete weld in setup for around $60 cheaper than the u-bolt setup.
