TTI Ceramic Coated Headers for a 440
« on: February 25, 2011 - 06:31:24 PM »
For sale are a set of TTI 1 7/8" Headers for a 440 Engine.  I am returning my 1970 Challenger R/T back to stock, so these were removed.  According to TTI's website, these will not fit any "B" engine applications (i.e. 383 or 400) because the "RB" engines are 1/2" taller and 1/2" wider.  They will, however, fit in a number of vehicle body applications with a 440 (A, B, E, F & M).

The photos below are from the driver side manifuld.  Passenger side is in identical condition and wrapped in a box ready to ship.  These are ceramic coated with an internal thermal barrier, and probably have less than 1000 miles on them.  They retail for $841 for the set and are widely accepted as the very best headers on the market.  I'll sell them for $450 + shipping.  I am in Texas. I'll accept a money order or PayPal.

Here is a link to TTI's page regarding these specific headers.

If you're interested, send me a private message with your Email address and I will respond.  Please be certain that these are the correct headers for your vehicle as I cannot accept a refund.

Here are a few photos:

sounds like a good price for what I understand are some great headers.
Unfortunately, I have the 440 rb engine with power steeering and they probably would not fit.

The listing says they do fit with power steering? :dunno: Does seem like a good deal money wise!
I know we are thinking the same thing.....will they fit after our header fitment issues? :smilielol:

:iagree:  the only thing that kept me from getting these headers is that they won't fit with the fast ratio pitman/idler arms from Firm feel!  :banghead:

it is very possible they will fit my car, but omg, I went through such H E double hockey sticks fitting my headman shortys I dont think I could do it again. I'm getting too old
But I finally got them in, though two of the tubes are squished to about 1/2 size now!!

I would love to have these, but would probably have to look at them for a few months before getting up the nerve to install them. Then I would have two set of used headers lying around. My old hooker headers have been riding in the back of my truck for the past 6 months, since I was thinking of coating them, but dont think its worth it.
Besides, they look cool back there :cooldancing:

Seems like a great deal - I think I paid over $800 for mine.  I have a set (and have power steering).  They installed very easily.  As long as you follow the installation instructions, no problems with them.
