Congratulations on the Challenger acquisition.  I have a '72 and I also have always liked the Chargers too.  Speaking of which, that would be an awesome photo of your T/A parked next to your Charger.

i grew up on the show and fell in love with the general.

You can have the general Ross, I fell in love with Daisy!

as for the car, shes a 70 T/A, numbers block, tranny, 4 speed.   the engine sounds a little too much like a motorhome for me

Ah, have you checked the compression?  TA's in general sound AWSOME!  My TA is a near twin to yours which I just got in November.

thanks for the warm welcome!  im definitely going to try to take more pics soon, and hopefully with both cars at some point.  i found out what i dont like about the sound.  at idle the car has a nice rumble, and if i give it a small rev it still sounds good.  not very loud, but still sounds like a muscle car.  the problem is when the revs kick up the engine fan starts spinning so fast the sound of the fan and all the rushing air drowns out the exhaust noise.  id like to get some flowmasters on there which i think would help, and would be pretty cheap, but im hesitant to have anyone cut into what looks like a fairly new exhaust system.  so we'll see...
