Distance between dash and steering wheel?
« on: June 21, 2011 - 07:51:59 PM »
With the usual crush can in place....measurement from the top lip of the dash would be good.

Thanks...

From the very edge of the dash pad closest to you to the gap between the column & crush can 4 3/4"

I misunderstood .....pad to wheel on my '73 is 4"

let me clarify your answers....dash to back of steering wheel rim is what you are measuring?

I ask because this column is from a Dart and had no can at all which barely left room for my fingers
between dash and wheel which is some four spoke Grant...I put a two inch can on it but I would like to put the crush can on it
