Use some long guide bolts on the bottom holes as you slide it in you just lift or lower the tail shaft. It will save your arms. Use ready rod or cut the heads off 2 long bolts put them in the bell housing bottom holes. Once you are on them you can move the trans anyway you need to. Put the yoke in the tail shaft so you can turn it in gear to line it al up.   :working:  :cheers:

Sometimes I just simply amaze myself with something totally stupid I did. So you're in the club too??  :smilielol: About a week ago I was trying to remove a frozen stud from my Windstar exhaust manifold. I had a large pipe wrench on it and the whole manifold flew out of the bench vise, bounced off my floor press and ended up hitting me in the face so hard it bent my nosepiece on my glasses flat!! Ouch!! I only hurt my pride!!  :roflsmiley: The stud broke off and I had to drill/carbide burr it out!!  :swear:

Yeap i joined the club  :P Wow sounds like you got lucky that could have been bad.  Seems like every task i do anymore something is gonna wrong and take me twice as long. I'm almost affraid if i even look at something wrong its gonna break  :smilielol:
