the bumpers on my car were basically broken off/worn off at the base of the bumper.  I am rebuilding the front end and waiting on new bumpers.

What is the distance between the top of the bumper mount bracket to the bottom of the control arm when the car is around the factory ride height?  As I don't know if the new bumpers are identical to the originals, I am asking from the mount base rather than the top of the bumper so I can cut them if needed...Thanks :)

Steve,

What car and what year? They probably vary.

Actually, the distance between the top of the bumper and the bottom of the arm is probably more valid as I am looking for the normal amount of travel that is allowed....

Challenger....at normal ride height :)
